IGT desired a mobile solution - on both iOS and Android - to showcase a major new slot technology known as Cardless Connect - a Bluetooth Low Energy powered component allowing players to interact with the slot machine via their personal mobile device. However beyond just a pure technology demo, they also wanted to provide a realistic casino property app experience to illustrate to casino operators how Cardless Connect could fit in to their existing or future property mobile apps.

As part of this illustration, the Casino 2020 app included many other features including proximity-based marketing and offer delivery based on Beacon technology, a demonstration of integrate mobile gifting powered by ItsOnMe, and a powerful mobile content management system, and integration in to IGT's flagship player loyalty system - Advantage.

To facilitate these requirements in a timely and reliable fashion, the Casino 2020 app was built using the Casino Offer Network mobile framework and highly customized to suite the needs of the product.
